Privacy policy
This describes what we collect when you use the calendar, why we hold it, who else can see it, and how to get it changed or deleted.

1.Who this covers
CMH India operates this event calendar. This policy covers the website and everything you do on it: browsing listings, creating an account, submitting an event, and replying to one.
2.What we collect
- Your account. An email address and a password. The password is handled by our authentication provider and is stored as a hash; we never see it.
- Your profile. A display name, and optionally a phone number, a short bio and a profile picture — only what you choose to enter.
- Events you submit. The name, description, date, time, venue, capacity, entry fee, categories and poster, plus the organiser name, email and phone you choose to publish.
- Replies to events. If you RSVP, the name, email address and phone number you give.
- Technical data. Standard server logs and aggregate page analytics. We do not use advertising trackers and do not build profiles for advertising.
3.Why we hold it
Account and profile data exists so you can sign in and manage what you have submitted. Event data exists to publish the listing you asked us to publish. RSVP data exists so the organiser knows who is coming. Logs and analytics exist to keep the site working and to see which pages are used.
4.What is public
Once an event is approved it is public: everything on the listing, including the poster and any organiser name, email and phone entered on the form. Leave a contact field blank and it is not shown. Your account email is never published, and neither is your profile unless you put those details into an event.
RSVP replies are not public. They are visible to the organiser of that event and to site administrators.
5.Who else processes it
- Supabase — database, authentication and file storage for posters and avatars.
- Vercel — hosting and aggregate page analytics.
These providers process data on our instructions in order to run the service. We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it for anyone else's marketing.
6.How long we keep it
Accounts and their events are kept until you ask us to delete them. Past events stay in the database as a record of the calendar unless removal is requested. RSVP replies are kept while the event is live and for a reasonable period afterwards so organisers can follow up. Server logs are short-lived.
7.Your choices
- Edit or delete anything on your profile from the account page.
- Edit your events from your dashboard, or ask us to remove one.
- Ask for a copy of what we hold about you, or ask us to delete your account entirely.
- Ask us to correct anything that is wrong.
Write to contact@cmhindia.com from the address on the account and we will deal with it.
8.Children
Accounts are for adults. Events aimed at children are welcome, but the account that submits them must belong to an adult, and children should not create accounts or submit RSVPs themselves.
9.Security
Access to the database is restricted by row-level rules so an account can only reach its own records, and traffic is served over HTTPS. No system is perfect: if something does go wrong that affects you, we will tell you.
10.Changes and contact
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. Questions about any of it go to contact@cmhindia.com.
