Terms and conditions

Using the site means accepting these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the site. Creating an account means you are an adult and that the details you give are true.

You are responsible for what happens under your account and for keeping your password to yourself. Tell us at contact@cmhindia.com if you think somebody else has it.

• Everything you submit must be accurate: the date, the time, the venue, the entry fee and who is running it.
• You must have the right to use the poster and any images you upload. Do not upload artwork somebody else owns.
• Every submission is reviewed before it appears. We may approve it, ask for changes, or reject it.
• We may edit, unpublish or delete a listing at any time — for example if it is inaccurate, a duplicate, or has already happened.
• Approval is not endorsement. It means the listing looked complete and genuine, nothing more.

What you submit stays yours. By submitting it you give us permission to store it and to display it on the site, including in listings, search results and link previews, for as long as the event is published.

• Events that are illegal, or that promote hatred, harassment or violence towards anybody.
• Listings that impersonate another organisation or misrepresent who is running the event.
• Fundraising or ticket sales that are not what they claim to be.
• Scraping the site, hammering it with automated requests, or trying to reach records that are not yours.
• Using contact details published on a listing for bulk marketing.

If people RSVP to your event, you receive their name, email and phone number so you can organise the event. Use that information for that event only, keep it safe, and delete it when it is no longer needed. Do not add those people to a mailing list without asking.

Listing and browsing are free, and the site does not process payments or sell tickets. Any entry fee shown on a listing is collected by the organiser, directly, by their own arrangements. We are not part of that transaction.

We publish listings; we do not run the events. The organiser is responsible for the event, for what happens at it, and for anything they have told you about it. Check the details with the organiser before you travel, and take reasonable care when meeting people you do not know.

The site is provided as it is. We try to keep it up and accurate, but we do not promise it will always be available, or that every listing is correct — most of the information on it was typed in by somebody else.

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for loss arising from an event you found here, from a listing being wrong or removed, or from the site being unavailable. Nothing here limits liability that cannot legally be limited.

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, and remove anything it has published. You can close your own account at any time by writing to us.

These terms may change; the date at the top changes with them, and continuing to use the site means accepting the new version. They are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio, United States.
